Camarillo Martial Arts

A new Martial Art in Camarillo

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or just Jiu-Jitsu as it’s often called, is not a new Martial Art by any means.  It is a new Martial Art in Camarillo, though.  Camarillo has a tradition of Martial Arts such as Taekwondo and Karate.  Most recently Gracie Morumbi Fabio Leopoldo opened up a Martial Arts school in Camarillo.  Gracie Morumbi originated in the Morumbi district of Sao Paulo, Brazil.  In 2008, Professor Fabio Leopoldo brought Gracie Jiu-Jitsu to Ventura County by opening up a school in Ventura, California.  Shortly after Professor Fabio opened up another Ventura County Martial Arts schoo, this time in Thousand Oaks.  After being voted the Best Martial Arts school in Ventura County 3 years in a row, Professor Fabio and Professor Erik Klinger decided to bring Gracie Morumbi and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to Camarillo.

Now that Camarillo has a premier Jiu-Jitsu school, it gives the people of Camarillo even more options to train Martial Arts.  Jiu-Jitsu is often considered the best one-on-one forms of self-defense.  Not only that, but it’s a great way to get and stay in shape.  There are many prominent Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments in Southern California, so if you have that competitive edge, there is that option as well.  Camarillo’s Martial Arts are thriving more than ever.  Don’t be late to join in the fun.
